"Our waiter, Prince, was absolutely amazing! Mom loved the prawn chip "starter", and told him as much, so he brought more! Our sushi platter was fresh, her hake and chips crispy, and my hake thermidor just as delicious. Throughout our meal, Prince was attentive, chatty and super warm. The East Rand branch is definitely one of our better experiences at a John Dory's franchise."

"Food was scrumptiously delish! Service was prompt and professional and staff were all round very friendly. We had the eat-all-you-want sushi special at R 250/head (and bottomless soda fountain at R 60/head), which we found to be good value for money. Lucas Steyn tended to us on the night and was a pleasure to have as a waitron. He was very attentive, well-versed and communicative on the whole (continuously updating us on the ETA of our next course and/or advising us of any potential delays - with the reasons therefor). We had a wonderful evening out - and will DEFINITELY be BACK again … WITH FRIENDS! ;-)"
